India lost to UAE by 0-2 but they have shown a great character. Chhetri and co. have managed to create more chances than UAE. Jhingan was so close to score the opener with a header. Sunil missed two close goal scoring opportunity and Kuruniyan could not score from an one on one situation. Despite being a low ranked team India came with a positive mindset and stunned UAE till 41st minute when UAE got their first opportunity and Khalfan Mubarak scored. There was a misunderstanding between Sandesh and Anas which helped UAE to score the first goal of the match.
India was not done with their attack and in the second half. Udanta hit the crossbar and Jeje was so close to score from top of the box with a long ranger. But Ali Mabkhout scored the second goal in 88th minute for UAE to make 0-2. India just missed a big opportunity to create history. They could have easily won the match if half of missed chances were converted.
FULL TIME! The referee blows the long whistle, bringing an end to the match. It’s been a tough day for India, who had even hit the woodwork twice.

Indian fans are disappointed but happy with their team’s performance.
I started watching football from 1992 Santhosh trophy in Kochi maharajas stadium at the age of 5. Still I don’t miss most of the Indian football. I can proudly say that Indian football is rising after today’s game after UAE. Even if we lost. @IndianFootball #INDUAE #AFC2019

India will face Bahrain in their last group match. A draw would be good for them to qualify for the next round. Bahrain have drawn their first match and lost to Thailand in second match. Indian fans are positive and hopeful for next round qualification.
